EAA Chapter 5 will be bringing the Aluminum Overcast to Lost Nation Airport for rides for the public to purchase. Go online to www.B17.org to purchase tickets in advance and save! This ticket allows people to “Join the Flight” and experience this historical aircraft from the air. Ticket cost in advance is $449.00 and at the event $475.00. Members of EAA receive a discount; purchase on line. Ground tours are also available and are purchased at the event only; tours are $10.00, children under 8 are free with a paying adult. ALL ACTIVE MILITARY and VETERANS are complimentary. Group and family rates available. Flights will operate 10am to 1pm and ground tours 2-5pm Friday – Sunday. Book Today! In addition to the B-17, the airport will have WWII vehicles, videos and displays available to see and merchandise to purchase. On Saturday and Sunday, EAA Chapter 5 will prepare a delicious pancake breakfast for purchase and WWII veterans are invited to join us for a FREE breakfast either day. Lunch concessions will benefit Maple Leaf Community Residences, Inc. Maple Leaf is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit housing corporation serving people who have special needs from Northeast Ohio. They have a severe need for roof repairs on one of their residences. Come out and support the cause!
