Madison Village is a picturesque Victorian-era village established in 1867 and listed in the National Register of Historic places. Perched at the edge of the Grand River Valley, Madison Village is the perfect place to launch your exploration of this amazing region of Ohio. Madison is minutes away from 3 Lake Metroparks, with over 1300 acres where you’ll find camping, hiking, hunting, birding, canoe and kayaking along the state-designated scenic Grand River.

Explore the historic Main Street where a variety of local retail stores and restaurants attract many visitors. Take a walking tour of mid-to-late-19th century homes from by the Madison Historical Society.  At the center of town is the beautiful Village Square and Band Stand. Here, visitors will find activities going on year-round, such as outdoor markets, evening concerts, classic car shows, craft fairs, seasonal festivals, and ice skating in winter.
