Historic Kirtland Visitors Center
A meticulously restored 19th century village showcases the vitality and spirit of the early American frontier. A part of the religious fervor of the 1830’s is the story of the early members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Attractions include Newel K. Whitney Store and Home, an Ashery, a working sawmill, the John Johnson Inn, and a schoolhouse. Also included are the Isaac Morley Farm, and John Johnson Farm. Free tours and parking. Summer hours: 9am-9pm. Winter 9am-5pm, Open Sunday 1:00 pm.
